I've been working with glass now for about
8 years and started out making stained glass panels -
something which I still enjoy greatly.
My projects include 3-dimensional pieces too, such as lamps
and boxes.
I've never liked "mass-produced"
jewelry - prefering more unique pieces - and started
making my own jewelry to have something different to match
each outfit.
Why not combine my love of glass with my love of jewelry?
A few years ago, I begged my husband to buy me a kiln for
Chirstmas.
And so began my relationship with "hot" glass...
When I'm not in my studio or buying supplies,
you'll probably find me getting dirty
in the garden, or on an exotic scuba diving trip somewhere
warm,
using the beautiful underwater scenery as inspiration for
new pieces.
